Introducing to you guys one of Urban Decay's newest release for their Holiday 2013 line, the Shattered Face Case! It includes 5 brand new and exclusive eyeshadows, 1 full size saturated lip pencil, 1 travel size eyeliner, 2 blushes, and a highlighter for only $44.
Come check out my review on this awesome set by Urban Decay!
"The ultimate all-in-one palette for the most discriminating beauty junkies, Shattered Face Case has all the essentials for a range of looks—including five NEW and EXCLUSIVE Eyeshadow shades. Perfect for quick getaways, rushed mornings and last-minute invites to stay the night, this travel-size palette fits stealthily into your bag—making it easy to create a hot look no matter where you are.
Shattered Face Case includes five shades of Eyeshadow (featuring our Pigment Infusion System™ for rich, velvety color that lasts), two shades of blush (in an exclusive new powder formula), a highlighter, a Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color and a travel-size 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil. With most all-in-one palettes, you run out of lip color long before everything else. Not so with Shattered Face Case, because the Super-Saturated pencil is FULL-SIZE. And when you want to change up your look, you can just swap out the pencils for your favorite UD shades.
Luxe enough to carry around in your best Balenciaga (hey, a girl can dream, right?), the shiny gunmetal case features a cool shattered glass design. Lift the lid to reveal the first tier, which houses the shadows, the lip color, the eye pencil and a big mirror. Delve into the lower tier and you’ll find the blushes and highlighter, along with another mirror."
This is the outer box for the actual product. I usually throw these away but I just wanted to take a picture for you guys!
This is the 1st layer of the Shattered Face Case; inside holds a super-saturated high gloss lip color in Lovechild, 5 brand new and exclusive eyeshadows (Nameless, Remix, Shakedown, Minor Sin, and Bleach), and a travel size eyeliner in Zero.
This is the 2nd layer of the Shattered Face Case; there is a cut out on the package for lip pencil (why we're seeing it again), 2 blushes (Overexposed and Temper), and a highlighter in Glint.
The eyeshadows, as always, had really good pigmentation. They were soft, buttery, easy to blend, and I didn't experience any fall out with any of the them. Hands down, Urban Decay truly has the best eye shadows ever!
The blushes and highlighter were also soft. The pigmentation is great and you can always pack it on if you want your blush to be more prominent (...as you can tell in the picture below; I usually just dust it lightly on my cheeks).
The eyeliner is one of my favorite of all times (...I do have them in 50 other shades and I'm not ashamed). They are rich, creamy, pigmented, and easy to blend out (especially if you want to use them as a base or to get that sexy smokey effect).
The lip pencil is creamy and moisturizing; it also has a glossy sheen.
Nameless - Medium Gray-Brown Satin
Remix - Rich Purple Shimmer w/ Tonal Micro Glitter
Shakedown - Rich Brown-Gunmetal Satin
Minor Sin - Champagne-Pink Satin
Bleach - Yellow-Beige Matte
Overexposed - Dusty Rose
Temper - Soft Baby Pink
Glint - Soft Pink Champagne Shimmer
Zero - Zealous Black Cream
Lovechild - Cool Pink Cream
The palette is absolutely gorgeous. I love the whole shattered glass effect they got going on and all of the products inside are amazing! It's such a great palette for people who are always on the go since it contains 5 eyeshadows, 2 blushes, 1 highlighter, 1 eyeliner, and 1 lip pencil. I just wished that they would've swapped out one of the blushes and added a matte bronzer instead! The lip pencil was a bit too light and natural looking but overall a wonderful set for anyone to pick up for themselves or a friend/family member.
Highlight (Brow Bone) - Bleach
Lid - Minor Sin
Crease - Shakedown
Upper Lash Line - Zero
Lower Lash Line - Remix w/ Nameless really smudged closely to my lower lash line
Cheeks - Temper
Highlight (Face) - Glint
